RI Instructor Testimonies
RI Instructor
I have one young man who during 1st term told me at the end of every class that he didn’t believe any of it. Toward the end of term 2 he was asking me “why” questions and has stopped saying he doesn’t believe anything about God. The response from my class of 50 to receiving a free bible has been overwhelming – their excitement about receiving a bible is heart touching. (All had permission slips from their parents.)
RI Instructor
One of my students recognised me at a local playground one week. I discovered he was a foster child and I was able to have some meaningful conversation about his foster brother who has a disability. A very bonding moment. I will cherish that moment.
RI Instructor
One of my grade 3 classes from the very beginning wouldn’t settle. I tried everything I knew and nothing worked. An RI colleague came into my class for moral support. A miracle happened:
One of the students wrote me a sorry letter, asking for forgiveness,
One student who always yelled came up and apologised for his behaviour and promised to do better.
The kids were respectful, kind, and they interacted and engage with the RI lesson.
